Reviewer Guideline
Information for Reviewers
The Avicenna Anatolian Journal of Medicine employs a rigorous, independent, and unbiased double-blind peer-review process for the evaluation of submitted manuscripts. Articles are initially assessed by the Editorial Board for originality, methodology, and the significance of the topic. Following this, the manuscripts undergo evaluation by at least two independent experts in the relevant field. The Editorial Board retains the final authority over publication decisions for all submissions.
Reviewers are advised to familiarize themselves with the "Information for Reviewers" and "Instructions for Authors" sections of the journal before conducting their evaluations. All submissions must be reviewed based on their authenticity, validity, significance, and adherence to ethical standards.
The journal uses an Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform for managing the peer-review process. Reviewers can access the system using the username and password provided in the invitation email. Upon receiving an invitation to review, reviewers are expected to promptly decide whether to accept or decline the invitation. If the invitation is accepted, the review must be completed within the specified timeline. Reminder emails are sent in cases of delays.
